FAMNZ are collecting the personal information requested in this application process including (but not limited to) your name, addresses, employment information, professional association membership, criminal record, credit information and any other personal information you expressly provide to us from time to time.

We collect this information for the purpose of verifying your identity, facilitating payment of membership fees, considering your application for membership as well as subsequently contacting you and managing any membership granted by FAMNZ. We will also use this information to contact external stakeholders. Additionally, we will use your personal information for collateral purposes such as updating our membership records and directly marketing FAMNZ events and activities to you. If you provide us with information that is not specifically requested in this process, we will also collect this information.

Any personal information collected is held by us in or New Zealand or Australia but may be disclosed to, and held at a destination outside Australia, including but not limited to the United States of America, where we utilise third party service providers. Your consent to our collection and use of your information also includes consent to us disclosing to these countries.

You may decide not to consent to this collection, use and disclosure. If you do not consent to our collection, use or disclosure then you should not use this application. In this event, we cannot use this application to consider or provide you with membership. You may also withdraw your consent (including consent to us directly marketing to you) at any time but the consequences we identify above may also arise. Additionally, such withdrawal may require us to revoke your membership, once approved, because membership provides you with personal rights which must be held by an identifiable entity. If we do not know who you are, then you cannot hold those rights.
